The Oslo Baroque Soloists consist of Norway's foremost soloists who grew up to the tradition of choir singing. Conducted by Shalev Ad-El, this ensemble has been performing since 1992 in numerous concerts and recordings. Their repertoire ranks between Bach and Haendel to Brahms and Bruckner, as well as Scandinavian, Slovenian and Israeli modern music. The group tours mainly as a-capella, but co-operates frequently with soloists such as Guy de Mey, Harry van der Kamp, Carolyn Watkinson, Charles Daniels, Michael Chance and Suzie le Blanc as well as instrumental ensembles such as the Halle chamber orchestra, Musica viva Amsterdam, Il Gardellino, the Dorian Consort and Accademia Daniel. Since their establishment, they have performed in the festivals of Dijon, Radovlijca, Brezice, The bible festival in Prague, Muesnter baroque festival, Tel-Aviv Museum, Israel festival, Basel, St. Gerold, Brezice, Kristiansand vocal festival, Mecklenburg, Hundisburg-Haldenslebenfestival, Fasch festival, 92nd Y New York, in the Gewandhaus, Leipzig, in the Haendel-Festspiele in Halle, in Brugge early music festival as well as in Festival van Flanderen in the Beijlocke of Gent.
